I hadnt stumbled upon a good game like this one in a long time. However the cloud saving is really crap. The game works with skydrive but log in you have to leave the app, and when you come in the game restarts and doesnt download cloud saves. Im sure they have their reason for using skydrive rather than iCloud but really it just doesnt work. Worth the purchase anyways, but if you play on two devices beware the skydrive.

This game is totally the best you can get for that price. The game is hilarious, fun to play; the control is easy and smooth; the content is rich, especially love the numerous secrets!

This game is fantastic. The story is funny and self-aware, frequently poking fun at the absurdities that occur in RPGs. The combat is enjoyable and well thought out with tons of options available in how to develop your characters as well as how to assign abilities, equipment, etc. Theres lots of hidden secret stuff to find, gags to be found and fun references to nerd culture all throughout the game. Therere frequent spelling and grammatical errors in the text, but thats a minor gripe. If you enjoy RPGs, youll enjoy this game.

I dont do this. I dont stop playing a game to review it. I dont click my action button, open the App Store, search for an app and gush in this review field. This game is exactly what the doctor ordered for anyone that is looking for the SNES rpg experience on iOS. One thing I love is the constant reference to this games predecessors. Play the game, and you will know what I mean. This app is THICK with homage. I cant say enough. The game is complex, but not complicated. Im not going to waste any more of your time talking, just buy this game and enjoy!

With charming characters, and a humorous yet loving take on RPG genre conventions, Doom and Destiny will quickly become your first choice when you have a few minutes to spare. Dont be fooled by the lighthearted tone, there is a deep RPG with some interesting mechanics underneath it all. Infinitely swappable skills let you tailor your party to your playstyle as well as your circumstances. All in all a great game! Cant wait to see what this developer comes up with next :)

Just simply amazing! Ive played for about 35 hours so far. Its better than Final Fantasy Dimensions and its not expensive at all. No in-app purchases either. The game has so more treasure hunting and exploration to offer. The story is perfect and funny as hell. I will follow for any upcoming sequels. Thanks for giving me such a good time! =D

This rpg in the vein of ff was extremely well done! I just finished the main quest and a few side quests in a little over 16 hours. It has a ton of humour which keeps it fresh and original. The game interface is very well done, intuitive and easy and quick to navigate. The level up system and amount of loot, gear and spells allows for a lot of customization. The boat and airship are a great addition too. I highly recommend this game.

Huge maps with tons of weapons, cash, monsters, secrets.. I also really enjoyed the satiric tone of the story regarding rpgs in general. Dungeons are not too long and the pace of the game is fast. But aside (and after) the main story there are lots of sidequest and powerups still available. It took me about 13h to complete the main storyline and 35h total to complete all the quests. Totaly worth the price.

The controls are a bit unusual, but the game is very well done. Yay for no in-app purchases!

One of the, if not the best game I ever downloaded. I cant wait for the sequel! Grammar is kinda bad though, it doesnt really affect the gameplay.

As soon as I got my ipod, within a day, Ive had it bloated with games hoping that one of them, cut the cake as an RPG on the go. This is the one. With its easy controls, unique in-game systems, and funny dialogue, (and story lines,) its perfect for any D&D and/or final fantasy-fan.

It looked way better the other way

At first I was wondering if pitching out $3 for a game was too much, but I 100% got my moneys worth, with a handsome discount compared to the final fantasy games! I love this game, its like final fantasy but with more customization, etc. LOVE THIS GAME

I havent enjoyed a game so much in a very long time. Cant think of the last time I got some much quality gameplay for just a couple bucks. Its clear a lot of love went into it. Definitely buying D&D Advanced as soon as I finish this one.

D&D is an awesome game and to compare it with the advanced game I think the first I mean the original is better

Really love this game. Anyone who grew up playing 16bit RPGs will feel right at home. Unfortunately the latest 1.8.3 update seems to have wiped all of my saved game slots. Otherwise its a 5 star experience.
